Villa Visconti Venosta: visits start again!
May 15 the ancient doors of the Grosio villa-museum reopen.
After the long pause due to the pandemic, Villa Visconti Venosta is ready to welcome visitors between his walls rich in history and art.
Accompanied by the Guide of the Museum, it is possible to immerse yourself in the ancient atmosphere that hovers in the numerous rooms and reliving moments of life of the Visconti Venosto family, closely linked to the history of Grosio, Valtellina and Risorgimento Italy.
In the exhibition path that winds on two floors it is possible to admire the rich period furniture that adorns the rooms, the ancient volumes, the memorabilia collected during generations and during travel, the precious works of art that are part of the collection Of the noble family Visconti Venosta.
Villa Visconti Venosta is open from May 15th to November 1st, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
In July and August it is open from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays.
There are three daily guided tours that leave at 10:30 am, 14:00 and 16:00. Booking is required (via email or telephone).
